2018-19 NBA season: Denver Nuggets finish 9th in Western Conference

A look at the team's performance, roster changes, and season expectations

By Mike Singer, The Denver Post

The Denver Nuggets finished the 2018-19 NBA season with a 46-36 record, good for ninth place in the Western Conference. The team missed the playoffs for the second straight season.

The Nuggets made several roster changes in the offseason, including the addition of point guard Isaiah Thomas and center Mason Plumlee. The team also drafted Michael Porter Jr. with the 14th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.

The Nuggets are hoping to make a playoff run in the 2019-20 season. The team has a talented young roster led by Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. The Nuggets also have a strong bench, which should help them compete in a tough Western Conference.
