Acclaimed actors Rhys Ifans (The Amazing Spider-Man), Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Graham McTavish (The Witcher), and Fabien Frankel (The Serpent) will portray key characters in the upcoming series. Martin's acclaimed novel, Fire & Blood, House of the Dragon chronicles the rise and fall of the Targaryen dynasty 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones.
